No no, I’ve never said that  troops should be withdrawn, what I said is that we’ve got to make sure that we secure and execute the rebuilding and reconstruction process effectively and properly, and I don’t think we should have an artificial deadline when to do that.

Obama is a new kind of politician and will not be judged on the content of what he says, does, has done, will do, won’t do, or whom he associates with. The new kind of politician is judged on how sonorous his “ummm’s” sound and how loose his collar fits.  Obama is doing rather well.
