Sunday Matinee:Come Away With Me Lucile, In my Merry Oldsmobile…

Similar to the way astronomers look forward to the next solar eclipse, sometimes it seems the CATO Institute likes seeing the free market decimate American industries just to calibrate their instruments. I would rather see the the unions reform than celebrate the new market efficiencies created by the folding of General Motors.

Meanwhile Honda just opened up a plant in Indiana  The “Buy American” slogan is a tough sell if the average Honda has the same amount of American parts as a Chevy.

The Oldsmobile marque was one of the oldest in the world behind Daimler and Peugeot.  The last one was made in 2004.
